Real-time communication for logistics operations

The company managed cargo rejection requests through a Power Apps application. However, the process relied on direct communication between operators and managers, creating approval delays that affected the continuity of logistics operations.

Additionally, the organization needed a mechanism to record conversations and maintain an auditable history of approvals to strengthen compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

We designed and implemented a real-time, two-way communication system integrated with Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, and SharePoint. The solution enables operators to communicate directly with managers from within the application, embedding communication into the operational workflow without disrupting the approval process.

All conversations are automatically stored in SharePoint lists, creating a centralized repository that supports traceability, auditing, and end-to-end tracking of every request while seamlessly integrating with existing business processes.
