During BY23, Baufest delivered more than one million service hours and continued driving significant growth in skill-building and cultural alignment through the Baufest Institute of Technology (BIT). The BIT delivered over 47,000 hours of internal training, including 25,000 hours dedicated to improving the English proficiency of our professionals.
Additionally, we delivered over 500 projects across all industries and onboarded 13 new clients in Latin America, the United States, and Spain: Bisus, Boldt, Galicia Seguros, TGS, Osinergmin, Tasa, Gentera, Banco Industrial de Guatemala, Nintex, Pro Unlimited, ViaSat, Casino Gran Madrid, and Panorama.
To support this operational growth during BY23, Baufest continued expanding its workforce, which currently consists of nearly one thousand employees.
For the thirteenth consecutive year, Baufest was recognized by the Great Place to Work® Institute as one of the "Best Places to Work in Argentina," a ranking that evaluates organizational culture. The company was also honored among the best places to work for women and millennials, as well as one of the best technology workplaces and caring companies.
During this period, we also continued our Intensive Training Program (PEI)—a series of free training courses designed to educate the next generation of IT professionals. The program included 112 students, 46 of whom joined the company across its various locations in Latin America.
"Business Year 23 was a challenging year of significant growth for Baufest. Delivering the best experience within a climate of proximity, respect, and diversity is one of our primary goals, which is why we are proud to be recognized once again as one of the best places to work in Argentina. Despite the global climate of uncertainty, we fulfilled the objectives of our international expansion plan and continued developing highly engaging projects, thanks to the trust our clients placed in us to resolve their most complex business challenges," noted Ángel Pérez Puletti, CEO of Baufest.
Regarding our service portfolio, the growth of the Applied AI practice stands out, having completed over 20 proofs of concept that helped clients optimize their business processes. We also innovated internally with this technology to accelerate and enhance service delivery and support internal processes across departments such as Marketing and HR, among others. Furthermore, we consolidated our end-to-end approach, integrating the work of our technology and business practices to address both technical complexity and industry-specific challenges.
For this new fiscal year, we will maintain our strategy by focusing on four pillars: continuing our international expansion, deepening client relationships, differentiating ourselves through our service offerings, and delivering an exceptional employee experience to our professionals.
