THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading baking company and a key player in the snacks industry. It bakes over 9,000 products, distributing them through more than 3.5 million points of sale with over 57,000 routes. The company employs 148,000 people and operates 1,500 sales centers strategically located in 34 countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

THE CHALLENGE

The platforms used for various company processes, such as sales, waste tracking, and logistics, utilize multiple information sources that are not centralized in a single repository. In this context, the global Data and Analytics area needed to ensure the timely availability of data across the different countries where the company operates, in order to feed the dashboards that monitor and control operational indicators.

THE SOLUTION

We formed a multidisciplinary team of data architects and engineers to develop a digital product that automates and configures the orchestration of data integration processes through customizable workflows. The solution was implemented using Azure cloud data services, and as more countries were added, the product was adjusted in terms of scheduling and data volume.

As we deepened our understanding of the processes, we added new roles to the core team, such as Product Owners, DevOps specialists, and Testers. These professionals not only ensured that the final product met business requirements but also provided a comprehensive approach to address each of the client’s needs.
