DEVELOPMENT OF THE DIGITAL WALLET FOR THE LEADING FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS IN ARGENTINA

THE COMPANY

A fintech company was created through a partnership of four of Argentina's top banks, with agreements involving more than 30 banks and financial institutions from both the public and private sectors. Its goal is to promote the use of electronic money and provide greater security to customers for their financial, commercial, and banking operations.

THE CHALLENGE

Our client needed to launch a payment app that would enable swift money transactions, integrating with the most important banks in Argentina. To do so, they required a partner capable of supporting them in designing the user experience, developing and testing the application, building an Open API, and providing support to the associated financial institutions for service integration.

THE SOLUTION

Starting with an initial analysis, our Customer Experience specialists developed a scalable design system and experience. They worked on the information architecture, payment and transaction flows, onboarding and registration, home screens, and account and card linking (both happy and unhappy paths), ultimately delivering a native app for iOS and Android.

Using Node.js, React Native, and PostgreSQL technologies, we developed an Open API where banks can consume the services offered by the wallet's functionality and integrate it into their banking applications.

For product testing, we designed and implemented frameworks, automated testing plans, non-functional and integration tests on mobile platforms and APIs within an ecosystem based on Amazon Web Services. Additionally, we assembled a team of professionals to provide support to banks in the integration of the services.
