MANAGING SOFTWARE TESTING WITH XRAY

One of the largest and most prestigious retail conglomerates in Latin America. It operates in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, and recently also in the U.S., where it has developed a successful multi-format strategy that provides jobs for over 150,000 employees.​

THE CHALLENGE

As part of the modernization project for the Point of Sale (POS) system in more than 120 retail locations in Argentina, our client needed to manage a high volume of software tests, covering planning, execution, and reporting. They required a tool that would centralize management to provide full visibility of the process, while streamlining and improving the quality of deliverables.

THE SOLUTION

At Baufest, we proposed incorporating Xray, a test management tool that allows for creating test cases, monitoring their execution, communicating findings, reporting on testing progress, and obtaining metrics.

With the commitment of five departments from the company, we implemented Xray and integrated it with Jira in just one week, providing continuous training and support to 30 users.
