BBVA is one of Argentina’s main private financial entities. It has an extensive network of branches located throughout the national territory, 834 ATMs, 823 self-service terminals, a team of over 6,000 collaborators and it maintains commercial relations with retailers, small and medium size companies and large corporations. In times of constant change, where we find ourselves dealing with new challenges and technological contexts, customers’ needs have changed to become increasingly digital. BBVA was seeking to transform the culture, processes, platform and its organization.
Baufest deployed Agile practices in the different sectors of the company and in line with BBVA´s international level definitions. This made it possible to work together with a great part of the central areas of the company. The core strategy consisted of using Agile Discipline and Agile coaches and teams in all the organization (IT and Business) in order to synchronize, align, coach, and mentor high performance teams. To do this the organization was trained, oriented, and guided through Agile frameworks and procedures: Kanban, Scrum, and Lean. Baufest aided the cultural change process with Agile change management and cultural support activities. ASFe 5.0 was adapted and scaled to the client´s needs with regard to the portfolio, programs, projects, services, processes, and all the roles involved. Synchronization operations commenced at all levels of the organization.
